Welcome to the very first batch of The Reserves; a celebration of my Granddaddy Booker's legacy. I'm honored to be part of something that means so much to us at Beam, and to all of you who've enjoyed it over the decades.
TASTING NOTES
Deep Amber
Complex rich vanilla with hints of charred oak
Notes of dried fruit and nuanced brown sugar sweetness
Full bodied with long and lingering notes of baking
But in other ways, The Reserves is something new. I've taken my granddaddy's Booker's and put it on a path to the future. Expanding its flavor profile with the most exceptional liquids in our rackhouses, it's the kind of bourbon I believe he'd be making, if he were still with us now.
I search high and low across our campuses to find the right barrels, handpicking every single one myself. They can take a while to find, but when I do, it feels like the Big Man himself picked them out.
I couldn't be prouder to share this bourbon with you all - I think even Booker would say we've "done good" with this one.
So let's all raise a glass. Long Live Booker's
